Set a target for the month and limits for categories. Arc shows what’s left.

How to use it

  1. Step 1 of 3: Open the sheet’s settings and go to Budgets.
  2. Step 2 of 3: Under Monthly target, type an amount for Every month. Turn on Different for October (or whichever month you’re in) if one month needs its own.
  3. Step 3 of 3: Under By category, add limits where you want them. Leave one empty for no limit.

Good to know

  • Category limits don’t have to add up to the monthly target.
  • The gauge turns orange from 85% and red when you go over.
