How to use it
- Step 1 of 5: Open a sheet and tap the repeat button (Recurring payments). On iPhone, tap ≡ at the top right › Recurring payments.
- Step 2 of 5: Under To review, tap Track for payments you want to keep an eye on, or Don’t ask again.
- Step 3 of 5: Read Worth knowing: price rises, possible duplicates, renewals bunched together, and services that overlap. On Arc Free it shows what Arc found you could save; Arc Pro shows which payments and by how much, and Arc saved you adds up what acting on them saved this year: subscriptions that stopped after an alert and duplicates you deleted. Only what you really did counts; tap it to see each one.
- Step 4 of 5: Tap a payment to see every charge, or change its name, amount or next payment, pause it or stop tracking it. Arc missed one? Tap Add at the top.
- Step 5 of 5: Paid without a bank text, like rent, the maid, school fees or an SIP? Add it, then turn on Add to inbox on the due date. On that day it waits in your inbox, ready to log.

Good to know
- Arc looks at the last 13 months for monthly, every 2, 3 and 6 months, and yearly payments (finding new ones on its own is part of Arc Pro; on Arc Free, add them yourself, and ones already found stay; a small note there says so, tap × to hide it). On iPhone, you get a reminder at 9:00, three days before a tracked renewal; Remind me (Arc Pro) adds one the day before and on the due date.
- A scheduled entry reads Scheduled · Rent in your inbox, only yours, on the due date where you are. It has the payment’s category, payment method and split if you set one (rent with 2 flatmates). Change the amount if it was different; logging it moves the next payment on.
- If a bank text for about the same amount arrives within 3 days, Arc marks it Possible duplicate instead of counting it twice. Log one and Arc offers to drop the other.
