Your default sheet. Bank texts and screenshots go here first.

Sample data. Nothing here changes your sheets.

How to use it

  1. Step 1 of 4: Tap New sheet on Home. Give it a name, a colour, an icon and a currency.
  2. Step 2 of 4: Start with Arc’s categories and payment methods, or copy them from a sheet you already have.
  3. Step 3 of 4: Tap a sheet to see its month. Its settings are under ≡ at the top right.
  4. Step 4 of 4: Pick how each sheet looks on Home: the colour halo (what’s left this period, big) or the semicircle (spent out of the target). Use its card’s menu › Show as, or Sheet settings › On Home. It’s just for you (viewers too), and your iPhone widgets follow it.

Where to find it

On the web
Home › New sheet, or + in the sidebar. Its look: ⋯ on its Home card, or Sheet settings › General › On Home
On iPhone
Home › New sheet. Its look: its Home card’s menu, or Sheet settings › On Home

Good to know

  • Your default sheet (Personal to start) gets new entries made outside a sheet, bank texts, Apple Pay payments and screenshots; other currencies convert into it, and Plan opens it first. Change it in Settings › General › Default sheet, or in a sheet’s settings with Make this my default sheet, on the website or your iPhone.
  • Archiving a sheet hides it for everyone in it. Its entries are kept. To see your archived sheets, or bring one back, open Settings › Archived sheets (on the website and your iPhone). Only a sheet’s owner can unarchive it; everyone else in it can see it there. If you’re on Free, an unarchived sheet counts toward the sheets you own.
  • Changing a sheet’s currency relabels amounts. It doesn’t convert them.
