How to use it

  1. Step 1 of 4: In New entry, type the amount, then turn on Split. On iPhone it’s above the keyboard.
  2. Step 2 of 4: Choose who paid under Paid by, and tick who it’s split between.
  3. Step 3 of 4: Pick Equally, Amounts or Shares. The strip at the bottom shows when it adds up.
  4. Step 4 of 4: Save it. Your list shows your share, and Settle up shows who owes whom. Only you can change the split; the others can still mark what they paid.

Good to know

  • Equally: any leftover paise go to the first people in the list, so ₹100 three ways is ₹33.34, ₹33.33, ₹33.33.
  • Your spending counts only your share. Splits are for expenses only.
  • Splitting with someone who isn’t on Arc? Add them as a guest.
