How to use it

  1. Step 1 of 5: Open Settings: on the web, your name at the bottom of the sidebar (on a phone, your photo at the top right of Home); on iPhone, your photo at the top right of Home.
  2. Step 2 of 5: Change your photo and name, and Appearance (System, Light or Dark). Language and region shows your formats and time zone, set from the device you last signed in on.
  3. Step 3 of 5: Under General › Default sheet, pick the sheet that new entries made outside a sheet, bank texts and Apple Pay payments go to. Other currencies convert into it, and Plan opens it first.
  4. Step 4 of 5: Under Password and security, tap Change password. Arc emails a 6-digit code to your account’s email (if it doesn’t show up, check your spam or junk folder). Enter the code with your new password. You don’t need the old one, and your other devices are signed out.
  5. Step 5 of 5: Under Signed-in devices, sign out of a phone or computer you don’t use any more.

Good to know

  • Here too: Getting paid, Bank SMS, Other currencies, Archived sheets (the owner of one can Unarchive it; others in it can only see it), Arc AI, and Help & feedback (plus Shortcuts and Apple Pay on iPhone).
  • Sheet settings (categories, budgets, members) live on each sheet, not here.
  • The password code works on any of your devices: ask for it on your phone and type it on the website, or the other way round.
